Constitution of ICC-SHW for considering complaints of sexual harassment of women employees at PMCHRI

At Panimalar Medical College Hospital & Research Institute, we are committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment for all our employees, especially women. In accordance with the guidelines of the National Commission for Women, the directives of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, and the National Medical Commission, we have taken significant steps to uphold the principles of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act, 2013 (POSH Act, 2013).

As part of this commitment, we formally established an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) . This committee serves as a dedicated body to address and resolve complaints related to sexual harassment in the workplace, ensuring that every woman in our institution feels protected, heard, and supported. The ICC operates with transparency, fairness, and confidentiality, in line with the provisions of the POSH Act.

We believe that a workplace should be a space of dignity and professionalism, free from harassment or discrimination of any kind.

Below, you will find more details about the POSH Act, the responsibilities of the ICC, and how we strive to create a safer and more inclusive work environment for everyone.
