AMEE International Networking Centre (AMEE INC)
- The Department of Medical Education at Panimalar Medical College Hospital & Research Institute has been recognised as one of the Four AMEE International Networking Centre (AMEE INC) in India. The Four AMEE International Networking Centres were inaugurated on 9th August, 2022 at Datta Meghe Medical College, Wanadongri, Nagpur.
- Association of Medical Education in Europe (AMEE), the most prestigious worldwide organization for encouraging excellence in Health Professions Education across continuum of Undergraduate, Postgraduate & Continuing Profession Development, has recognized 4 AMEE International Networking Centres in India namely JNMC, DMIMS (DU), Wardha; MAHE, Manipal; CMC, Ludhiana and PMCHRI, Chennai.
- The collaboration between AMEE and the four recognized International Networking Centres is aimed towards fostering educational scholarships and best practices in Health Professions Education in India through well-defined strategic objectives.
- AMEE – India collaboration is strategized to put India on the International front of Health Professions Education. India being one of the largest originators of Health Professionals across the world, this event marks the advent of a meaningful partnership to build consequential educational networks across Europe and beyond.

- Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE) is a prestigious worldwide organisation for encouraging excellence in health professions education. AMEE has decided to establish four International Networking Centres in India at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal; Christian Medical College, Ludhiana; Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences, Nagpur and Panimalar Medical College Hospital & Research Institute, Chennai. The collaboration between AMEE and the four international networking centres is aimed towards fostering best practices, educational scholarships and innovations in health professions education and research.
- The PMCHRI-AMEE International Networking Centre was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Vedprakash Mishra, Honourable Pro Chancellor, Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education & Research, Nagpur in the august presence of Dr. P. Chinnadurai, Secretary & Correspondent of Panimalar Group of Institutions, Dr. C Sakthikumar, Director of Panimalar Group of Institutions, Dr Russell D’Souza, International Chair in Bioethics, Australia, and Dr. Mary Mathew, Head-Indian Programme, International Chair in Bioethics, Australia.
